Festive Fashion | Cinco De Mayo

Cinco de Mayo is all about embracing a culture and there’s nothing we love more than diversity. If you’ve been invited to a Cinco de Mayo celebration this year, you probably understand that choosing the best outfit is as important as the festivities themselves. Besides, it’s always a good idea to dress for the occasion. Looking festive this Cinco de Mayo is probably already on your to-do list but have you thought about what outfit your mini is going to be rocking yet? Don’t worry, we’ve got your back on this one and compiled a few outfit ideas that incorporate the bold and bright colors that celebrate an amazing culture to ignite your inspiration.

Close to home

We created an outfit for your little girl to embrace her Mexican heritage with our vintage pieces and matching accessories.

Dress your mini in this dreamy vintage piece that embodies the Mexican culture. If this is your daughter’s first Cinco de Mayo party, this is a great option for her to appreciate her Mexican heritage. Sadly, we only have one of these one-of-a-kind pieces so act quickly to make it yours!

Celebrating with friends

If you and your family are invited to a close friend’s Cinco de Mayo you can also dress in bright and bold colors that signify happiness and festivity. Here are some of our outfit ideas for anyone that wants to dress their mini to the occasion.

Our Paush Heart Romper is perfect for any special occasion, and this bright confetti print is perfect for any Cinco de Mayo party. We paired the romper with matching accessories so your mini can look her absolute cutest.

Taffy Vivi Dress by Ultra Violet Kids ($78), Round Metal Frames ($10), Barcelona Sandals by Hubble + Duke ($40)

If the party is being held outdoors this year, it’s best to keep your mini away from the sun’s harsh rays. We paired this colorful dress with a straw hat and sunnies for additional style and shade. We definitely expect your mini to run around the area so we also added a pair of comfortable sandals that have adhesive straps for versatility.

Vintage Red Button Up Shirt ($16), Dots n’ Diamonds Bloomer by Rylee & Cru ($42), Barcelona Sandals by Hubble + Duke ($40)

We ‘re so in love with this vintage top with silver tipped collars and floral and geometric print. Bold prints and bright colors are the perfect accents to add to your mini’s Cinco de Mayo outfit. Plus, it’s so comfortable that you don’t have to worry about your mini tripping and falling when they play in this get up.

Festivities are always a favorite time for family and friends. What better way to celebrate this May 5th with your mini than in style? We hope you are able to find some inspiration in our outfit ideas to dress your children to any Cinco de Mayo events you may be attending this year!
